I suddenly woke up to the fact that I never blogged about this beautiful wedding that we shot towards the end of 2017.
I knew we were going to have fun with Tshego and Ndumiso from the moment we met months before the big day. They were so relaxed, new exactly what they wanted and trusted us to just do our thing!
The Midlands was showing off on the their wedding day at the always spectaular Lythwood Lodge. From Ndumiso awsome blue jacket to the guests themselves everywehre we turend our lenses there were bright colurs and massive smiles. Tshego looked breath taking and Ndumiso face when he first saw her literlly made me cry.
Such a fantastic day of love, family and true celebration, we loved being part of it... read more

A magical autumn afternoon in a Parkview park was the perfect setting for this gorgoues bump shoot with the Van Wyk family. I love Caro's bright dress, Grace's enchanting smile and the amazing light refraction unique to a Joburg sunset. Only 4 weeks to go and then we finally get to meet little AJ, yippee!... read more
Wow this was such a beautiful wedding. Claire and Paul planned everything perfectly and Ground was the most magic setting for a summer wedding with the look and feel of a destination wedding in the Midlands or the Cape when in fact we were only 30minutes from Joburg.
There are so many things I want to point out about this wedding, from Claire's seamless dress that magically transformed into the perfect dancing dress, to the suspended wreath of greenery at the top of the altar. They were married by their friend and bridesmaid and I loved how the wedding rings were passed around the entire congregation for love & prayer. There was a Gin Bar and Harvest table unlike anything we had seen before, dinner was served buffet style but at each table with wooden boards suspended above the flower arrangements followed by an epic sweets and cupcake. There was sunlit grapevines and fields of long grass to shoot in, beautiful dusty pink bridesmaids dresses and lots and lots of Prosecco!... read more
I know its already Februrary and therefore riduclously late to be posting a highlights reel from 2017, but in my defense we shot more than 40 families, 4 proposals and 10 weddings last year and this is only part of the work we do. We have been busy.
So here it is, a few of our favourites from the year that was. Suprise waterfall proposals, windy beach days, sunny forests adventures, rainy wedding days and everything in between. It's been epic and we loved it.
Thanks to all our amazing clients, it never ceases to amaze us what amazing people we meet in this job... read more
When you dreamt of your wedding proposal I promise very few of you could have imaged something as amazing as what Tejiri planned for Kokgetso. A weekend at the 5 star Karkloof Safari Villa's, a day of treatments at the Karkloof Safari Spa. A private gamedrive and a walk to the base of a massive waterfall! A toatlly unexpected proposal with a stunning ring, followed by a photo shoot, sundowners and champagne.
We loved being part of this perfectly planned surprise and we cant wait to be there for their amazing wedding day! Congrats again Tejiri & Kokgetso... read more
We love doing a newborn shoot like this one. Meeting a family in their home where the newest member arrived only a few days before. We love looking for those spaces where games are played, babies sleep and books are read. The McFayden certainly made our lives easy in their beautiful home with 2 gorgeous girls who were such fun to take pics of. Thanks for picking us, we had such fun with you guys... read more
I have to admit that I was so super chuffed when Robs asked us to do her family photo shoot. Not only are they special friends, but Robs is an awesome family photographer in her own right. We love her work and we want her to shoot our family. So we were excited and nervous about the challenge of capturing epic pics for her and Rich. But they made our lives easy. What gorgeous kids and so many creative ideas that included a fairy garden walk, jumping on the bed and even a little bit of nudity (sorry you don't get to see those pics).
Take a look, I am sure you will love them as much as we did. Of course, now the pressure is on us to do our own family photo shoot!!!! We will be booking soon Robyn Rose!... read more
