Cant wait to see what this year has in store for PeppermintPix!... read more

If you have made a booking with us in the last 3 years, then you have probably chatted Jen; our wonderful, gentle, kind hearted , no nonsense Jen. She has been our amazing production manager all while raising this beautiful family, running comrades and generally over achieving.
We have been planning this shoot with Jen and her family since the first day she started working for us, I am thrilled we finally made it happen! Jen your children are gorgeous, you and Derek are doing such an amazing job raising these 3 small humans.

Whenever I think about this wedding it makes me smile. A spring wedding in the bush complete with wildlife, wild groomsmen, landdrovers, so much laughter and even a full moon or 2. Kelly and Alan planned a brilliant wedding at the new and improved Bayala Game Lodge which borders Phinda in Northern KZN. The got married in a forest in the middle of the bush, followed by a chic picnic braai, a sunset game drive, dinner under the stars and a full moon rising during the speeches. We laughed so much we had to stop taking pics to wipe our eyes. At the same time there were tears of happiness and love all round.
Such a beautiful day, thanks for inviting us along we loved taking pics for you guys. I hope your life and marriage is filled with as much laughter and fun as your wedding day... read more
BE WARNED; if you are in danger of getting broody, then dont keep reading this blog! The idea of 3 boys is enough to intimidate any person, but when you see the reality of 3 brothers, and all the fun and love that lies ahead, it is going to make you want another baby!

I suddenly woke up to the fact that I never blogged about this beautiful wedding that we shot towards the end of 2017.
I knew we were going to have fun with Tshego and Ndumiso from the moment we met months before the big day. They were so relaxed, new exactly what they wanted and trusted us to just do our thing!
The Midlands was showing off on the their wedding day at the always spectaular Lythwood Lodge. From Ndumiso awsome blue jacket to the guests themselves everywehre we turend our lenses there were bright colurs and massive smiles. Tshego looked breath taking and Ndumiso face when he first saw her literlly made me cry.

A magical autumn afternoon in a Parkview park was the perfect setting for this gorgoues bump shoot with the Van Wyk family. I love Caro's bright dress, Grace's enchanting smile and the amazing light refraction unique to a Joburg sunset. Only 4 weeks to go and then we finally get to meet little AJ, yippee!... read more
Wow this was such a beautiful wedding. Claire and Paul planned everything perfectly and Ground was the most magic setting for a summer wedding with the look and feel of a destination wedding in the Midlands or the Cape when in fact we were only 30minutes from Joburg.
There are so many things I want to point out about this wedding, from Claire's seamless dress that magically transformed into the perfect dancing dress, to the suspended wreath of greenery at the top of the altar. They were married by their friend and bridesmaid and I loved how the wedding rings were passed around the entire congregation for love & prayer. There was a Gin Bar and Harvest table unlike anything we had seen before, dinner was served buffet style but at each table with wooden boards suspended above the flower arrangements followed by an epic sweets and cupcake. There was sunlit grapevines and fields of long grass to shoot in, beautiful dusty pink bridesmaids dresses and lots and lots of Prosecco!... read more
